I could not recommend Martin more. I was a very nervous learner and had attempted learning previously with another instructor but dreaded every lesson. I found Martin’s approach so much more effective; he was patient and reassuring but also pushed me when I needed encouragement to go out of my comfort zone. He explained things brilliantly and adapted explanations and techniques when I was struggling to understand something. I was in tension i had my test booked and just 5 days left when i contact with martin he agreed to give me one lesson which totally put me at ease and filled me with confidence! He is an extremely skilled instructor, huge wealth of knowledge and experience. He is extremely efficient and thorough. Nothing was ever too much trouble.

My son Thomas learnt to drive with Martin. Thomas suffers with anxiety but Martin always made him feel comfortable and at ease. Martin is an absolutely fantastic instructor. He is thorough, thoughtful, and fair. He is supportive throughout and does a fantastic job making you feel relaxed and engaged when learning from him. He has a fast growing reputation as one of the best instructors around, and for this reason I joined his waiting list over others. I am glad I did so. He is so considerate of individuals needs, so I’d also recommend if you’re of a nervous disposition. I am thankful he was willing to work around my awkward shift patterns, and helped me pass first time.

I got in touch with Martin to help me build confidence in my driving after I had a long time off the roads while living abroad. Martin was professional, encouraging, friendly and patient. With the expert guidance I received, I quickly felt more comfortable driving and am now back on the roads and driving every day. Having not driven since passing my test 5 years ago I was in much need of some refresher lessons in order to combat my nerves and anxiety. I was lucky enough to have some lessons with Martin who, after the first 10 minutes of my first lesson, completely put me at ease! Martin is relaxed and patient and has got me driving on my own! Highly recommended.
